Surfski World Championships 2012

Pat Dolan

Pat Dolan will be heading back to the Kaiwi Channel for the 3rd time in less than two months. The 24-year-old paddler form Kailua will be competing in this Sunday’s World Championships of Surfski. Within the preceding two months Dolan has accredited a 3rd overall placing in the OC1 World Championships on April 16th and a few weeks later Pat and teammate Kai Bartlett set the OC1 relay world record on May 6th!

Pat will be racing on the Paddlesports International boat the “Surfski CX”  Kayak. This will be Pats 1st attempt at the Surfski World Championships. The race starts at 11am on Molokai and the top paddlers are expected to cross the finish line about 3.5 hours later.
