Congratulations Mick on an outstanding performance at the 2012 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach!  Your surfing left us breathless as you showed your true champion colors to take down Kelly Slater in one of the most amazing Finals ever surfed!  Yeah LEGEND!!!

Mick Fanning defeats 11x Surfing Champion Kelly Slater to earn himself his second Rip Curl Pro Bell

Fanning took it to Slater from the very beginning starting with a 9.10 and never let up in the 40 min. Final

Mick’s power surfing proved to be too strong for Kelly’s progressive airs in the end.

Mick surfed the Bells Bowl perfectly, in the lip, on the face and showed true colors of MP throughout the event.

After an amazing display of battle with Kelly, Mick came out on top of one of the most amazing Finals ever!
