Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro – Day 1

Day 1 of the Nike 6.o Lowers Pro saw contestable 1-3 foot conditions with rippable rights and lefts on offer.  Team Vertra put on a great display of competitive surfing with Joel Centeio, Dusty Payne, Taylor Knox and Kekoa Bacalso all advancing to the Round of 48.

Kekoa “BAM” Bacalso posting the highest top 2 wave total of 16.07 points by days end!  Kekoa’s surfing was on point and really dug in to Lower’s fun rights and lefts.  BAM’s next heat will surf in the Round of 48 Heat 7.

Joel Centeio put on a great display of rail surfing and placed 2nd in the Round of 96 Heat 4.  Joel advances on to the Round of 48 Heat 1.

Dusty Payne is here competing in the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro 6* Prime to gain some valuable points towards his 2011 World Tour campaign.  Dusty advanced a waves starved heat and advances on to the Round of 48 Heat 4.

Tour Veteran Taylor Knox looked really precise in Trestle’s playful conditions.  Look for Taylor to put it on rail in his his next heat which will be the Round of 48 Heat 6.
