Mikala Jones is a very unique individual. He is known in the surfing world for his smooth style and classic rail surfing. Since he was a young up and comer Mikala stood out from the rest of ripping Hawaiian surfers. As his surfing matured and the crowd decided to chase the WQS, Mikala went in the total opposite direction while chasing The Search in Indonesia. After years and countless trips to secret spots all throughout the Indonesian island chain he set up his life there with his wife Emma and his two beautiful daughters. When you are surfing so many different types of waves your mind is drawn to riding just your standard beach break board. Mikala was never one to conform to the mold of standardized surfing, he was always one to try all of the newest changes in surfboard design.
