Andy smiles back at his beloved community and always had his eyes the future of surfing on Kauai
The surfing community is rejoicing the life it’s favorite son in Andy Irons. Andy tragically passed last year at the tender age of 32 years young. Today, November 2nd marks the one year mark of Andy’s passing and his life is being celebrated by the surfing industry, community and fans alike with countless posts of photos and videos throughout the social media realm! We miss you A.I.!!! Thank You for everything!!!

You’ve heard and seen the rivalries of Bruce and Andy’s competitive upbringing, but with that much fire there is a deeper love within. Their love always transcended to the keiki of Hawaii and aborad!!!
The Irons Brothers Keiki Classic is Kauai’s favorite event par none! Andy and Bruce broke all boundaries with their sponsors to make sure the kids were ultra stoked. All of these finalists won brand new JS surfboards along with the load of Billabong and Volcom gear.
Despite a full day of setting up, event organizing, autographs and family duties Andy always took the extra time to pose for photos and did his best to making other happy! Here he is posing for a photo with a thankful family!
Like father, like son both are equally stoked for all that Andy has given back to surfing and their hometown of Hanalei, Kauai. Andy showing his stoke to have the power to do what he and Bruce can for the place that has blessed them.
Andy has left his mark on all of us, and Bruce will continue to perpetuate Andy’s legacy and the Irons dynasty!
